Google AdWords Police Report

When you’re getting traffic to fuel your internet marketing, you’re usually competing with other brands for the customer’s attention. If those brands are misleading or malicious, it usually reflects badly on everyone, including you.

In 2016, Google AdWords did what they could to fix this. They suspended advertisers of illegal products, scams and misleading claims. This helps the reputation of the platform and anyone who advertises on it.

Scott Spencer details what action was taken in 2016 to fight bad ads.

Quotation of the Day

“In 2016, we took down 1.7 billion ads that violated our advertising policies, more than double the amount of bad ads we took down in 2015.”
